The representatives of workers in Iberia have announced this Thursday that will go on strike if the airline decides to launch a new low cost flights for short and medium haul. This has been assured the head of the union SEPLA in Iberia, Justo Peral, with cabin crew and Stavlos Sitcpla and unions CTA and USO.
Peral has criticized the airline's management has given the pilots who will create a Master Plan which will include the implementation of that low cost and that this will not be open to negotiations. According to the Head of SEPLA in Iberia, this measure would have been announced by the CEO of Iberia, Rafael Sánchez Lozano.
In addition, Peral has criticized Iberia of "mismanagement", among other things because it believes have wanted to "give away" the airline to British Airways.
