Accor group plans to open 50 hotels in Spain in the next three years, Juan Carlos Delgado, Accor director general for Spain, has said to Preferente travel news magazine.
Accor currently has 78 hotels in Spain including their brands ibis, Novotel, Mercure and Pullman. The French hotel group plans to reach 130 in 2015. In 2013 plans to reach 100 hotels, as they have planned in 2002.
The next predicted openings will be focused in the low cost segment, throught the development in Spain of their brand ibis.
