Hilton is on the search of a building in Madrid to host a hotel in the main street of the city, La Castellana Avenue, where all the major companies headquarters are located, and in the same street where it stands Real Madrid Stadium Santiago Bernabeú.
Hilton director general for Spain, Primo Muñoz, has confirmed to preferente.com that the hotel group is currently analizing a few options to settle its second hotel in Spain’s capital and biggest city.
Hilton already had a hotel in La Castellana, which is now managed by Intercontinental. It was openned in 1953, and it meant the first big foreign travel company investement in Spain. Frank Sinatra, Ava Gadner or Liz Taylor were within their usual clients.
