Caja de Ahorros del Mediterraneo (CAM), Spanish savings bank, hold 3,28% of Tui AG, preferente.com has known from several financial sources. CAM said last May 19th that it had finished its period as a shareholder of the German tour operator. CAM held 5% of Tui AG since 2004.
Market value of this 3,28% is 33 million Euros, according to the current prices of Tui AG stocks. The holder of this share is CECA, the Spanish Confederation of Saving Banks, which works as a broker in this operation.
CAM entered in Tui AG as a shareholder in 2004 with an stake of 5%, after paying 155 million Euros for this amount of stocks. CAM, based in Alicante, is now under control of Bank of Spain.
